Keith's obituary
Keith was born in New Westminster on November 11th, 1958 and was raised in North Vancouver by Adam Diewold and Marjorie Humphries. His love for cars first began at his family’s Texaco gas station which quickly grew into a lifelong passion.
He worked at Firestone until he lost his leg in 1993 due to illness, but continued to follow his passion of restoring old Chevs and gas station memorabilia. Through the years, Keith was a long-time member of the 5-6-7 Chevy Club among many other Classic Car Clubs. Although this held a great place in his heart, his greatest love was always his family.
Keith moved to Mission in 1987 where he raised his family and resided until his passing. He is survived by his loving wife Shelley of 30 years and their four children; Carl (Jaclyn), Michelle (Tairn), Nicole (Robert), and Christina (Nicholas) along with his five grandchildren; Alexia, Adam, Bentley, Faith, and Isla. He is also survived by Daisy, his father Adam, his sister Jan and her children Midori and Kyle, along with many great friends.
He is predeceased by his mother Marjorie, stepmother Caroline, father-in-law Ronald, sister-in-law Kimberly, and his grandson Abel.
A celebration of his life will be held over the November long weekend, with more information to follow.
