Hardly a day goes by that I don’t think about you, Kayla. I have lots of lovely memories of you. Like the time you convinced me to go hiking with the kids when they were 3 years old. My daughter complained the whole time and your son kept running into the brush. Eventually you put them in the wagon and pulled that heavy wagon for about 20 minutes before we gave up and turned around. That hill was steep! I could not have pulled that wagon. I always admired how intrepid you were. Just one of the ways you inspired me… and still do. 💜

It has been two years since our daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend passed away.
We Thank God for the cherished relationships we have in our lives. Our closest friends and family who continue to support our family through our grief and honor Kayla by continually connecting with us.
We celebrated Kayla’s life over this past weekend with her son by visiting the many places they frequented, took outdoor adventures, ate their favourite foods, listened to their favourite music, watched videos made by Kayla, took turns mimicking her hardy laugh (to remind our selves of her joy) sent balloon messages to heaven for her to receive our love then hugged and snuggled to comfort one another.
We miss Kayla in the most profound ways and grieve her absence every day.
Love you Kayla, today and always!
We will see you again soon❤️
Odin, Momma, Dadda, Jess and our dear friends here on earth❤️

I am so sorry for your loss Tracey, Jason, Jessie, Odin and family. I often think fondly on our time together in Strathmore. Kayla was a true friend and my childhood was made better having known her. She will be sorely missed.

Oh my dear Kayla, from the days when you played football & I worked as head trainer, you were tough as nails & sure could hold your ground against all the boys - on & off the field!! My heart goes out to your family, especially your precious little man. Sending big hugs to all who mourn your loss.
