My condolences to Kayla's family. I first met Kayla when I ran home to SDT on bid day of 2024. she was my bid day buddy who then became my big. she took me in and treated me as her own child. she made me feel loved, safe, and like I belonged. she cared for me and showed me what it meant to belong to the SDT sisterhood. and we would often get dinner together, text all the time, and be there for each other no matter what. Kayla was the big sister I always wanted and she will forever be an important role model and person in my life. Kayla- I miss you every single day, and strive to have your compassion, enthusiasm, and drive for life. you will always be my mommy. I love you forever🩷
