It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kaye Markum on April 24, 2023. Born on March 4, 1973, Kaye was a beloved mother, sister, and friend who brought joy and laughter to all who had the privilege to know her.

Kaye is survived by her children and sibling , Cindy Marcum of Sheffield , Al, Cash Markum(Heather) of Nashville, Tn, Julianna Robertson(Hank) of Mobile , Al and Whitney Bilyeu(Chris) of Belfast,Tn, her 5 granchildren and her nieces and nephews , She was predeceased by her mother, Betsy Hughes; her father, Kenneth Hughes; and her sister, Melanie Lovell.

A Celebration of Life for Kaye will be held April 30 2024, at 1PM at Cindys Home. Call Cindy for directions. Her ashes will be scattered at a undisclosed place by her children. 

Kaye's passion for life was evident in her love she showed everyone.  She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed walking and vacationing at the beach. Kaye cared deeply about the welfare of animals and supported the ASPCA and rescued strays. 

Known for her bright personality, Kaye was often described as the life of the party. She believed in loving unconditionally and shared this lesson with those around her. Her greatest accomplishments were her three children, who will continue to carry her legacy of kindness and compassion.

Kaye's memory will live on through the hearts and minds of everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but her vibrant spirit and the love she shared will never be forgotten.
