It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Kay Yang. She was the cherished daughter of Nkajzeb Yang and the late wife of former Mayor Pham Naus in Long Cheng, Txhiaj Shawm Xiong.

Kay Yang, a loving mother, and a cherished individual, peacefully left us on December 24, 2023. She was born on October 1, 1962, and her 61 years of life were filled with kindness, strength, and dedicated service to her community and loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Tojxeem Txhiaj Shawm Xyooj, and her two sons, Lucky and Cheng. She is also survived her eight daughters: Zounee, Bedy, Navally, Juliet, Zong, Nue, May, and Monica; and her children from another mother that she loved as her own: Kou, Sheng, Lamena, Mariya, Leng, Saivanchai, Saysana, Julie, Tou, May N., and Mai Xiong, and numerous grandchildren. Kay's legacy will live on through her family, her profound influence, and the countless lives she touched with her compassionate spirit.

Kay will be remembered for her resilient spirit, love for others, and the warm smile she shared with everyone she met. Her memory will forever remain a beacon of hope and love.

To honor her life, we will hold a two-day Memorial Service on February 9th and 10th, 2024. We extend a warm invitation to all family members and friends, near and far, who wish to pay their respects and bid farewell to our dear mom one last time. The Memorial Service will be a heartfelt tribute, reflecting her wishes and beliefs.
