I met Kay and Earl on the beach on South Padre Island ,Tx some 48 years ago where I had my own business renting umbrellas and floats to the hotel quests and was a  lifeguard. They were unique in the fact that they had me move their umbrellas and chairs to a different location sometimes 50 or so yards from  the other ones each and every day..Earl would say it was to keep me busy, and did it ever work and made a lasting impression on me. Over all these years we kept in touch and I became so very fond of the girls, Lisa and Margaret. These were some of the dearest friends and family I have ever had and held close to my heart.
