Kaye's obituary

My precious bride, Katrina (Kaye) Lynne Fain, passed away on November 8, 2021 in Spring Texas. Paul (spouse) and Melissa (stepdaughter) were at her bedside for several months because of a stroke she suffered in February 2021.
She spent her life as a bookkeeper and office manager with a variety of companies. On occasion, she would allow her boss to make important decisions as she took control of the day to day functions of the business. She was an avid reader and absorbed an enormous amount of information that she used in performing remarkable tasks at work and at home.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Humble and performed many duties there. Many of the members commented on her skills as an organizer and decorating genius. She had a heart the size of Texas but she was known to have a temper the size of Asia. We never had fights but did have loud discussions. We generally ended up laughing about it. Her love for animals was epic. If she saw anyone mistreating an animal, take cover because there was going to be an explosion. I will have an extremely hard time without her because I don't have anyone to tell me all the things I'm doing wrong.

She is preceded in death by R L and Loreen Archibald (father and mother) and three sisters that include Mona, Gail and Sandra. She still has two sisters living in Texas who are Phyllis and Patricia. She has one son Patrick and his wife Erika and her grandson Hudson along with two living stepsons Richard and Roger . The extended family include four stepdaughters Melissa, Meredith, Amanda and Lindsey.

Visitation will be from 9am to 11am November 18th at Advantage Funeral Home at 7010 Chetwood Houston 77081 followed by a service at 11am. There will be a procession to Forest Park Cemetery on 12800 Westheimer for a 1pm gravesite service.
