Katrina's obituary
Katrina lived a life that was full of love, joy, and generosity. Cricket, as she was fondly called by her family members, was an unforgettable character. She had a spirit that was much larger than life. Despite the occasional use of her nickname, she always preferred being called Katrina, a testament to her individuality and strong-willed nature.
Born on March 27, 1961, in the vibrant city of New York, she relocated to Sacramento, CA at a young age and lived most of her life in Sacramento, CA. Her early years were filled with adventure and exploration. She was interested in drama, playing music, the theatre, gardening and travel. She went to a couple Burning Man's and loved to experience different cultural events and enjoyed art and music with her friends. This translates into a life rich with experiences.
Katrina is preceded in death by her mother Linda Alexander-Sutcliffe and her father Thatcher Clarke. Katrina is survived by her sister Lisa Clarke, her brother Wynn Robertson and his wife and children, her brother Richard Roberston and his son, several aunts and uncles, and five cousins bound by shared memories and laughter.
Her absence will be deeply felt by those who knew and loved her, especially her devoted partner Paul Barth. Paul was her confidante and an integral part of Katrina's life. Their bond was a testament to an enduring friendship, that both Paul and Katrina valued so much.
Katrina's departure has left a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever echo in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. Even in our grief, we are consoled by the radiant life she lived, and the countless lives she brightened with her being.
Rest in peace, Katrina, your spirit will continue to live on.
A Celebration of life will be held mid May;the date is to be determined. You can find updates here on this page.
