The matriarch of the Thomas family passed peacefully today, September 18, 2020, to be with the Lord after a long hard battle with dementia and related illnesses. Mary Francis or MiMi as EVERYONE called her was the loving mother of four children, grandmother of 15 grandchildren and great grandmother of 18 great grandchildren. She ranged between home maker, blue collar worker, baby sitter and volunteer. There was no one she did not befriend right away. In the process of caring for such a large family and giving them everything, she forgot to take care of her own future expense upon her passing. We are asking for assistance from those she loved, made an impact on and cared for over the years. She wasn't your normal grandma, and she'd tell you so too. We are trying to make arrangements for a burial in Granger, Texas and any little bit helps. Thank you for your consideration and thoughts and prayers during this hard time for the family. Contribute
