I wasn't related to Katie in anyway. I don’t know how, but she’s always been in my life. She babysitted me since I was two moths old. (I was born on November 3rd, 2010.) Me and her used to say we were each others favorite people. She would take me to the aquarium, to the harbor islands, the zoo, she even drive me to school everyday until she couldn’t drive. She would come to my house, and we would bake or do arts and crafts together, she would take me to the frog pond in Boston, I would come to her apartment and bake cookies. She would take me to the movies, the beach, and so many other places. She would always take me out to a Mexican restaurant called La Siesta, where the people knew here by name, and I would always pass out the raffle winnings at the elks club. My childhood would not be the same without her. She was the most important person in my life. She was like a grandmother to me, but even more than a grandmother. She was my favorite person.

Auntie Katie used to watch one of her great nephews when he was younger and they had a very close relationship. They would bake cookies, go to movies or other gatherings with the Emblem Club to the point he was an honorary member per the ladies in the club. She was very giving with her time and loved fast cars.
