Kathy Bottini

Kathy and I met as very young mothers and immediate neighbors! We were our own support system and shared many similar opinions and feelings as we discovered motherhood! I loved her as a dear friend and was devastated to learn of her illness and was sadly thrilled to have her move away to be near to her world, her children! She is at peace and will be with her family always❤️ She will be in my thoughts and memory always.

Kathy was such a special person. Her smile lit up a room. Despite her physical challenges, her happiness and positive attitude always shined through. She was truly an amazing person. Kathy will be truly missed. I have been fortunate enough to have Kathy in my life growing up. I think i spent 90% of my days from 7th grade to 10th grade over at the Winges' household and grew to know Kathy very well. She was a second mother to me, always helping with transportation and feeding me constantly :) I can still picture sitting at the kitchen table talking with Kathy for hours while half of my friends are downstairs in their basement hanging out. We would talk about life, dreams, hopes and all the high school drama. She had lots of wisdom to share with all us kids. Kathy also helped me look good by picking out multiple presents for her daughter Katie :) (hopefully katie still doesn't know). She was selfless and caring to all who entered her home. God gained another truly amazing angel who will help carry out his work in the world. Condolences to all her family.

Sara and I are so very sorry for your loss.

Katie, I will always remember how happy your mom was on the day of your and Josh’s wedding. I had the privilege of helping escort her to her room after the festivities and I will always remember our conversation on our walk. She could not stop smiling and talking about how happy and excited she was for you and Josh and how much fun she had. She was quite literally the sweetest woman Sara and I have ever met.

Mike and Katie -
I’m so very sorry. I loved your mother and will always remember having lunch with “Mrs. Winges” every time we’d go to your place over our lunch breaks in high school. She loved to chat with us girls and I’ll never forget when she took us out to dinner at the Mall of America. Losing a parent is one of the hardest things to go through. I am thinking of you and hoping you are able to find comfort knowing she is pain free and loved you beyond measure — and that love stays forever.
