Dear Family, I am still very sad about Kathy’s passing. She had a smile that would light up a room , just like her mother Bev. I have known her since grade school and she was always happy and friendly to all! I got to get together with her when she lived in Atlanta. I know she is somewhere visiting with my mother and laughing. She touched a lot of people and will never be far from our thoughts.
This day was a Mother’s Day at a festival. So much fun! All the days we spent at the beach with Ron, Baloo, and Vas will be days in my heart forever. Kathy adorned Shane and Ally all family members and with good reason a perfect family. My heart broke and fell out of my body when I heard the news of her passing. I hope each day gets a little easier remembering what a beautiful person she was. I wish I could take some of Ally and Shane pain away. My love for Kathy’s family is forever. Every time I go to the beach I’ll be thinking of Kathy and all the laughs that we shared. I’ll miss you friend. Thank you for sharing some of the best days of my life.
I remember fondly those early years of your sojourn in Woodside. I know that many hearts are breaking with a sorrow that will pass — as we remember to find Kathy in all the nature that she so delighted in. She was one of the most exuberantly creative women I've known. May her memory be a blessing.
Dear Ally, Shane, families, and extended families …….❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️There are no words to express during this very sad time. So very sorry to know that your mom Kathy had passed.
❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏Hugs, love, and prayers for you all. She will be so greatly missed. Her smile, laugh, and her great love will always be remembered and cherished. I was honored to know her and share some very special tines with her and our families Xoxo ❤️💜❤️
Ally, Shane and family…just heard the sad news and wanted to send ours prayers and thoughts. We had some wonderful memories in Woodside, loved our friendship and loved you both. We send you our deepest sympathy. Tom and Susie Duvall
I am still in shock. 50+ years of memories have been playing in my head since I learned you left us . Tears to disbelief..You were my best friend. I jotted down these words that are so fitting.. fiercely independent; empathetic; humble; stubborn; kind hearted; compassionate; music lover extraordinare; generous; adventurous; loyal; mater gardener; persuasive; strong willed; loved to laugh; loving; caring and sympathetic. We shared the best and worse life gave us. Till we meet again my true sister friend. I'll miss you here, but you'll be forever in my heart.
Kathy and Terri were my first childhood friends and neighbors. We have stayed in contact ever since. So sad to hear about Kathy's untimely passing. It seems it happens too often, to the Best people!😔
I only had the pleasure of meeting Kathy recently but saw the beautiful light that shined in her eyes and her smile at Shane and Kelly's wedding. Sending sincere condolences to all her family. Beautifully written obituary.
