Background
March 11th 1963 a beautiful baby girl was born, my sister Kathy, this is our story. Kathy was born with Down Syndrome, not expected to survive, weighing in at only 4 lbs 2oz. Kathy is fighting for her life. After weeks, Mom and Kathy came home. Kat grew up to graduate high school, bowl, swim and ride a two-wheel bicycle. At the age of 21 our Mom could no longer take care of Kathy, I joyfully jumped in, never looking back. I was only 26 years old, still young and only good things ahead. For the next 37 years, Kathy and I were getting on with life until 13 years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Kept working until 5 years ago, Kathy was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Forced to stop working, I filed for disability and stayed home full time to care for Kathy. On July 21st, 2021 Kathy, passed away peacefully with me at her side. I am asking for donations to have Kathy cremated. She is still at the crematorium won't cremate her until payment which I do not have. Her disability check stopped on the day she passed. August check must be returned, my check won't even cover my bills. I am beyond crushed, please help me bring Kathy's ashes home. Thank you sincerely, Barbara.
