You will always be in our hearts. I pray for her family and know she sure did love you all!

My Mom was one of those special souls that everyone loved. She was caring, kind and truly a genuine individual. I know first hand the amount of love, kindness and authenticity she had. It was just who she was. This holiday season was very difficult under the cirmcumtnces and I know only due to her was I able to find some norm just for my kids. Her passing has only opened my eyes up even more to all the love she shared and all the love people had for her.
One of the things my family and I will hold dear forever was the thoughtful gifts she would always come up with. My Mom would gift the kids and I different ornaments and/or decor each Christmas. Many of these items she would label with the year and a short note. With her passing suddenly during the holidays being a cloud over me personally throughout all the festivities, my Mom was still able to give me some comfort and peace as I decorated our home. We had all the snow globes, elves, etc. she gifted each of the kids out on display along with a tree filled with ornaments and notes of “I love you”, “Love Nanny” or “Love Mom”. I always placed these items out but obviously this year felt heavier.
What I know is through everything in our past, this present time of sorrow and our future to come, my Mom has always and will forever be right there only in a different capacity. As her Son I can say that she never failed to show up, no matter what. Her love and support was unwavering, it was loyal and calming. Her hugs and I love you’s or her just calling to say hi was the most reliable thing I’ve ever had. I will cherish this forever.
Momma, I love you and you know that, just as you loved me, the boys and baby girl. Today, we are grateful to know that and nothing can change this.
Thank you Mom 🪽
