Kathy Rene Richard died Monday, October 23, 2017, at her residence in Belle Rose. She was 49 years old and a native and resident of Belle Rose. Visiting at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, ((985) 369-7231, on October 22, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visiting at First Israel Baptist Church, La. 308, Belle Rose, on Monday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Irving Brown. Burial in the church cemetery. Survived by her husband, Lawrence Richard; five daughters, Trainett Joseph, Wanda Richard, Alonia Joseph and spouse Jeffery, and Lettie Steward, all of Belle Rose, and Schwanda Joseph of Donaldsonville; three sons and spouses, Kentrell and Wendy Richard of St. Rose, Elvis and Bridgett Richard, and Renard and Bridgett Richard, all of Belle Rose; two sisters, Eula Mae Dabney of New York, N.Y., and Arlene Randall of Marrero; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lorenza Dabney; three daughters, Veronese Sherman, Joyce Ollis and Audrey Sherman; son, Edward Richard; four sisters, Hilda Griffin, Neila Mibbleton, Comeria Blame and Leona Johnson; and three brothers, Charles, Lisbon and Willie Dabney Jr.
