Kathy Marie Drake was born on May 11, 1955, in Alliance, NE, to Charles and Clara Drake. She was the middle of five children, with two brothers and two sisters. The family later moved to Longmont, CO, where Kathy was raised. She graduated from Longmont High School in 1973 and went on to graduate from a local beauty school.

Kathy and Jerry enjoyed their home church at Life Church Chico. She loved coming on Youth Sunday's when Jake helped lead the sundays with the youth. It was her favorite time to be in church. Jerry and Kathy were always so giving when it came to helping with youth and kids events especially donating to get kids to camp each summer. (, None)
