Kathryn "Buck" Ross, 68 passed away peacefully and happy after hearing some beautiful music being personally done in her room by some close family friends.

She is preceded in death by her best friend and Husband Alan Ross. Her Mother Nelda Stanley, Sister Kay Hoover and her Grandson James Logan Brewster. She is survived by her Brother Randy Laverne and Cousin Donald "Donny" Primrose, and her loving chihuahua Anny Rae who has been her emotional support animal in the last couple of years and numerous friends who she considered family.

Kathryn has showed her love for animals at a very early age, she once brought a skunk home that didn't last long, momma wasn't happy. She was a member of the McCallum Rodeo Club and graduating class of 1975. She was fond of snakes and was sent to the dean's office for bringing them to school. She continued her love for animals with working at Burnet Road Animal Hospital up until the time she passed for 47yrs. She would go above and beyond to help her clients at the Animal Hospital. Even taking care of baby Gorillas.

Her love for animals was also equal to her love for music. Art's Rib House, Green Mesquite, Dart Bowl and Ross' Old Austin Cafe and numerous other venues could always expect her with others in tow to listen to the variety of music. Although Stevie Ray Vaughn was her favorite. She made close and dear friends with other bands and would follow them to various locations around the Austin and San Antonio areas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Candlelight Ranch, 6408 Muleshoe Bend Trail, Marble Falls, Tx 78654 on Sunday October 13, 2024 from 1 to 4 pm. The attire is Boots and Jeans.
