Kathryn Ann Kramer Radke
July 17, 1958 – October 11, 2024
Kathryn Ann Kramer Radke, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on July 17, 1958, to Lauren ‘Pat’ Wayne Kramer and Betty Joan (Gill) Kramer.
Kathryn was a proud graduate of Northern Illinois University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She was known for her tireless work ethic, tenacity, and boundless compassion. Artistic and creative, Kathryn had a remarkable gift for expressing her love.
Her greatest joy and purpose in life, however, was her family. Kathryn’s world revolved entirely around her loved ones. She was a devoted mother to her three beloved children: Lauren Rose (Radke) Knutson, Bryce Gordon Radke, and Laine Grace Radke. She was also the proud grandmother of Grace Elizabeth Knutson (10) and Isabelle Rosalee Knutson (7), who were the lights of her life. Additionally, Kathryn was a very proud aunt to countless nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored.
Kathryn is survived by her loving sisters and brother: Laura (Kramer) Fifer and her husband David Fifer, Debi (Kramer) Slagel and her husband Gary Slagel, Karin (Kramer) Dohm, and Marvin ‘Scott’ Kramer and his wife Dixie (Berzay) Kramer.
Known for her genuine spirit, humor, and deep love for those close to her, Kathryn was so very special to everyone in her life. She will be deeply missed, but her memory and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Further details will be provided.
