Avid reader and devoted journal writer, Kathryn had a particular fondness for the Holy Bible, which she read with depth and passion. Her love for words extended to numerous long conversations she enjoyed over the phone with her sister and other family members, often lasting for hours.
Kathryn's journey of learning and personal enrichment led her to graduate with a degree in Humanities from California State University in 2010, an achievement that reflected her deep commitment to understanding and appreciating the human condition.
She was a faithful attendee at The River Bakersfield Church. Her presence among the congregation was cherished and her faith was at the core of her kindness and generosity. Kathryn's dedication to her faith and community embodies a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her.
