Kathryn (Kathi) Morningstar (nee Christman) died Sunday December 11, 2022 at the age of 80! 

She was a graduate of John Bartram High School where she continued to head their reunion committee as co-chair. She stayed close with her high school friends many of whom were more like family. She received an associate degree in phlebotomy and worked in a lab at Penn when she graduated. After a short time in California she settled in Ohio, and then King of Prussia where she raised 2 children. For 25+ years she worked as an assistant teacher at St. David's Nursery School in Wayne. Kathi was a avid sewer and took pride in making costumes for her daughter’s dance and theater performances and later for her grandkids Halloween costumes. Kathi had a sarcastic sense of humor which she kept until her death. She is survived by her daughter Dawn Morningstar, son-in-law Scott Cox, and their children Noah and Liam, and her son Marc Morningstar and his children Frank and Meyers. A memorial service will be held at the Morningstar/Cox residence on January 7, 2023 at 2 pm. Come join us for a celebration of her life and a chance to share memories. In lieu of flowers, the family is collecting donations to a charity yet to be determined.
