I still remember the first time we met. You came to our home to see if my brother Bob was there. I can still picture you in the doorway, dressed in your perfectly styled clothes with your long bangs—so cool and hip, a bit like Cher.
You remained cool, stylish, and fashionable throughout your life, but more importantly, you were generous and kind to others who were deserving, and you somehow always found the courage to move forward despite the hardships you faced. You fought the good fight until the end, Kathy, in the most remarkable way. Thank you for sharing your life with our family. You will be missed.
Bobby, Katie Ann, Lauren, and Christopher, I am truly sorry for your loss. Nancy

To My Sister Katie Ann, you've done such an amazing job putting everything together & writing the most beautiful things about Mom at such a hard time. She would be as proud of you as I am. Now I know why she named you after her. You are stronger then you even know & you deserve so much credit for everything your doing while trying to grieve yourself. I love you so much & I just want to say "Thank You K" &I want to let everyone know just how strong, caring and amazing you are. Mom is looking down & I know she is so proud of you & just like Mom your a trooper (no that's our brother, my bad.) I tell you all the time how proud I am of the woman, sister & mother you are & you proved me right with the courage to do all your doing when dealing with some much. To my brother Christopher & my sister Lauren, I love you guys so much & when things get tough & times are hard we have each other's back & the love we share pulls us through. Thank you Mom for teaching us & making us understand how important it is to stick together & be there for each other. That was so important to you & I hope you see that we did exactually what you would have wanted. Mom you gave me the best gift ever, when you gave me my brother & sisters. Together we will get through this because, our strength comes from "OUR" mother... I love you guys.
Your Big Brother, Bobby

Mom, it's so hard to believe your really gone. I miss you so so much already & life as I know it will never be the same (I never even thought about this day, I assumed you'd live forever!) We've had up & downs, in & outs but we always had a bond & love that with stood any storm. For 51 years we went through life together & I honestly thought I'd go 1st because I thought you'd live till the end of time. Now that your gone memories are flooding back like crazy of so many good times we had. I just want you to be at peace Mom & I know I have one more angle. I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. I wish I knew I'd feel this way, things would have been very different. Your with your Mom, Dad & Brothers, your 3 Best Friends, My Father, Gram Mac & so many people who loved you & that you loved you & you told me you couldn't wait to see them now your with them. Rest peacefully Mom you deserve it. I LOVE YOU MOM! Bobby
