Kathryn was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan June 22, 1953 and is predeceased by her parents, husband Richard Talbott, and husband Kenneth Wotherspoon.
Kathryn is survived by her husband Robert Longman of Alix, Alberta, son Matthew (Stephanie) Talbott and grandson, Griffin of Hamilton, Ontario and daughter Kerri (John) Rutherford, of Airdrie, Alberta, and grandson, Riley, John’s children, Brayden, Liam, and Alycia; Bob’s children, Jennifer Longman, and Kelly Longman; sister Sandra (David) Warnock, brother David (Margaret Anne) Tysdal, and brother Murray (Peggie) Tysdal, Aunt Bonnie Ingeberg, nieces and nephews, many cousins and special cousin and friend, Becky Skelding.
Kathryn attended Briercrest School and then Saskatchewan Technical Institute in Moose Jaw. Her working days included employment with the Royal Bank of Canada and Telus in Alberta. Her love of people was a great asset at work and in whatever community she lived in. She was Homecoming Queen at STI, was runner-up for the title of Mrs. Calgary and received a White Hat award in Calgary.
Besides her family, Kathryn’s love was baking, cooking scrumptious meals and entertaining. She enjoyed communicating with many friends and relatives online, her sense of humour shining through. We will miss her so much!
A celebration of her life is tentatively set for July 13, 2024 with further details to follow.
