Kathryn Arambula (Lucero), 63, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born on April 18, 1963, Kathryn was raised between Winslow, Arizona, and Hemet, California — two places that shaped her bright spirit and deep love for family.
Proceeded in death by her Mother Mary Lucero , Father Eugene Hernandez , Husband Mario Arambula and her brother Louie Lucero and her fur babies scooby, tresa. She is survived by her brothers Floyd Lucero and Charlie Perea, along with countless nieces, nephews, and loved ones who affectionately called her Tía — whether by blood or by bond. Though Kathryn had no children of her own but had her fur babies that she loved just like a child , she became a second mother to Mario jr. and Manuel Arambula and grandmother to 23grand children and 4 great grandchildren many, spreading warmth, laughter, and wisdom wherever she went.
Kathryn spent many years working in casinos as a cashier, where her infectious humor and radiant smile made everyone’s day brighter. Outside of work, she found joy in arts and crafts, sewing, and decorating, she also loved puzzles she spent countless hours working on puzzles she always adding her creative touch to every space and occasion.
A woman of faith, kindness, and generosity, Kathryn lived her Catholic values through love and service. She was fun, full of life, and cherished her friends as much as her family — always the first to laugh, to comfort, and to make everyone feel welcome. She was known for her bright, warm smile and her unforgettable hugs.
Kathryn will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her joyful spirit, loving heart, and the light she brought into every room.
