Kathleen was born in Los Angeles, CA to parents Marvin and Berdena Mc Mains in March of 1946. She was the youngest of five at that time with an older sister and three older brothers. A younger brother entered the world nine years later. She entered the world without a middle name as her parents could think of none suitable for her. After four children, that’s understandable.
