Kathleen "Kathy" Johnson, a beloved figure known for her generous and loving spirit, passed away on February 21, 2021. Born in Chicago on October 12, 1956, Kathy was cherished by those who knew her for her friendly personality, characterized by her boundless humor and selflessness.
She is survived by her daughter, Katie Johnson, her son, Daniel Johnson, and her brothers Michael and Kenneth Johnson. Kathy's influence extended not only to her family but also to the community she served.
Kathy grew up in Buffalo Grove, IL, and spent her later years in Sacramento, CA and Anza, CA. She held a wide range of jobs in her lifetime, including a forklift driver, property caretaker, and telemarketer for multiple charities. She also volunteered at Friends of the Sacramento Public Library, contributing to the enrichment of her community. Her love of reading and studying the Bible was a testament to her deeply-held faith, and she was always eager to share the evangel with those she met. Kathy also enjoyed crochet and sewing, as well as cooking, baking, and taking care of her pet cats and chickens.
Above all, Kathy's life was a testament to the grace of God, Who transformed her and used her to share the Word with so many people. This will remain her most enduring legacy, as Kathy's life continues to inspire and uplift those who were privileged to know her.
