Background
Kayse received her Bachelor's in Human Services from Cal State University, Fullerton and began working as a crisis counselor at the Laguna Beach Community Clinic during the mid-1980s. She was particularly focused on helping mothers and teens dealing with homelessness and abusive relationships, and believed health care and mental health services should be accessible to all.
