Kathleen's obituary
Born October 26, 1956 in New Rochelle, NY to Vincent and Katherine (Grace) Rosabella, she grew up with her siblings, Judy (Rosabella) DeVesta of Roxbury, CT, Joan (Rosabella) Faller (pre-deceased) of Sandy Hook, CT and Rick Rosabella of Sherman, CT. The family moved to Connecticut and then to Florida where Kathy graduated high school before returning to settle in New Milford.
Here she met her husband of 39 years, Al Orne', (from Danbury, CT) and gave birth to daughters, Nicki (Orne') Cartin, now of Cambridge, NY and Danielle (Orne') Villani of New Milford, CT. She was also Nana to 2 grandchildren, Milo and Talia Cartin, and loved sitting on the floor playing and giggling with them.
She is also remembered with love by her cousins, nephew and nieces.
Kathy had a beautiful, infectious laugh and loved to make everyone happy. She was a talented cook and artist and wrote and illustrated several unpublished children's stories. She loved children and her favorite jobs were caring for little ones at For Children Only in New Milford and in Norway, ME before she was diagnosed with cancer in 2013. She also worked for several years at Pharmco Products in Brookfield, CT.
Memorial services will be scheduled as soon as possible and info will be posted publicly on her Facebook or you can contact the family at kathy.orne.memorial@gmail.com
