On Friday, January 23, 2026, Kathleen “Kay” Morris, age 86, of Bel Air, MD passed away. Beloved mother of Sandra Horseman and her husband Adam Horseman, Jesse Thornton and his wife Kathy Thornton, Rhonda Carter and her husband Mark Carter, and John R. Morris, Jr., dear sister of Connie Church and Robert Kovach and his wife Iris Kovach. Also survived by her grandchildren (Rhiannon, Crystal, William, John Robert, III, Brandon, London, Alicia, Kirk, Brent, Solon, Jessica, and Joshua,), great grandchildren (Haliegh, Alyssa, Makyla, Jade, Abigail, Chase, Khloe, M’Zeyiah, Makenya, Amelia, Emily, Harlem, Aiden, Jayce, Ellie, Kinsley and Waylen), nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other loving family members and friends. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, John J. Kovach, Sr. and Edna A. Kovach, her siblings John Kovach, Bill Kovach, Ruth Edwards, Betty McQueeney, Dorothy Morris and Bernadette Horengic, and her brother-in-law Curtis Church. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Church of the Nazarene located at 6610 Delta Road, Delta, PA 17314-9091 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity for cancer research.
