Kathleen Rose Marzec McCullough, a true daughter of the Emerald Isle, forever deeply missed, passed on Feb. 9, 2021, peacefully at home in Brier, WA. Born to Edwin & Alice McCullough Oct. 12, 1961, in Seattle, the 12th born of 13, grew up on Capitol Hill, attended St. Joseph's School and Holy Names Academy. She studied at UW and enjoyed 30+ years at the Post Office. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Liz & Mary, and to her brothers and sisters.

She was married to Dave Marzec for 12 happy years, and they raised their two daughters in Brier. She was with her partner Dave Wines for 22 years. Both were huge animal lovers and got immense joy from the family Jack Russell Terrier, Holly.

Kate, a wonderful friend to many, had a generous compassionate heart. She loved to cook and entertain, travel to new places, and spend time with her children. She will be lovingly remembered whenever we see pink roses, hear Beatles music, and spend time by the ocean at Long Beach, WA.

Kate is survived by Dave Wines, Liz & Mary Marzec; and her 12 brothers and sisters: Mary, Helen, Eddie, Jean, Pat, Mike, Margaret, Libby, Jim, Joe, Matt & Alice, their families, many cousins, extended family, and numerous friends.
