Kathy and I were in the same aerobic exercise class for many years, where she was an excellent dancer.  She was such a kind, gentle person with a positive outlook. I was impressed by the descriptions of her experiences hiking the Appalachian Trail! My condolences to her family. May her light continue to shine in all who knew her.
Kathy was a beloved member of our Rock Creek Forest Book Group for many years.  Her intelligence, kindness and extraordinary culinary creativity are highlights of her legacy in this neighborhood association; we will all cherish her memory.

I am blessed to have met Kathy at Wheeling College and to be included among her many devoted friends.  We were suites mates our sophomore year.   We kept in touch through the years.  Her cards, letters and phone conversations were filled with care, joy, wit and abundant love for her family.  I will miss her deeply and will carry her in my heart always.  I am at peace knowing that just as her family was saying goodbye, her heavenly family and friends were welcoming her home.

My sincere condolences to Huge and family.  I have wonderful memories of Kathy beautiful smile sweet disposition and fun personality, we laught and danced for many years…. Heavens have one more star…

To Hugh and family, Kathy was a very special person. Her kindness was inspiring. A soft spoken but determined woman. And a terrific cook. Hugh, you were a very lucky man. Love, Linda and Leonard Gianessi
Dearest Kathy:  You have been (and still are) such a huge part of my life.  More like a sister to me, than an Aunt.  The laughter we shared --  the memories are priceless.  Your family always came first.  Love, Sheila Ann.
