Background
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to support a cause that was connected to how Kathleen touched the lives of the special needs community.
Early in her career as a Special Education Teacher, Kathleen started to plan a Prom for her students. She worked with the parents and businesses in the community to put on a great celebration for these students and make them feel special like they deserved.
The Tim Tebow Foundation has taken a similar approach with the annual "Night to Shine" event. While Kathleen started this in the 1970's with her students she would love to see us continue to provide the special needs community with the love and joy they deserve.
