Kathleen “Katie” Macy Donohue, 28, passed away unexpectedly in Port Charlotte, FL on August 13, 2023. She was born on December 6, 1994, in Indianapolis, IN to Kevin Donohue and Dawn Bohnenkamp. Katie graduated from Franklin Central High School in 2013. She moved to Port Charlotte Florida in 2020 and worked various customer service jobs including Kroger – Indianapolis, IN; Publix, Popeye’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken – North Port, FL.

Katie loved anime and dreamed of going to Japan. She would often dress up in cosplay and attend the various conventions in the area. She also enjoyed playing video games and participated in the Best Buddy Program as a mentor throughout high school. She was an animal lover and adored all types of turtles.

Katie is survived by her parents Kevin (Shawn) Donohue and Dawn (Rick) Snyder, siblings Lauren Fisher and Justin Gault, niece and nephew Liam and Sophia Fisher, grandparents Polly Snyder, Gary (Lynda) Clark, Cheryl Bohnenkamp, aunts and uncles Lynn Sturm, Sharon Donohue, Jim (Teresa) Donohue, Susan Donohue, Marsha Fecht, Jennifer Snyder, Shana Bohnenkamp, Bobby Bohnenkamp and David Conroy, along with numerous cousins and friends and her beloved dog Tessa.
