Kathleen Cox, 56, of Concord NH, died August 24th, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by those she loved.

Born on December 5th, 1961 in St. Paul, MN., she was the daughter of Donald J. Cox and Mary Cox. Kathleen was raised in Lowell, MA and attended Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School before settling in New Hampshire.

Her life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her genuine smile and kind heart brought so much joy to those around her. She was a lover of people and animals, in particular, her dog Roxie and her daughter’s dog Abby who will miss her dearly.

Kathy was predeceased by her grandmothers Alice Cox and Delores Sathra, father Donald J. Cox, mother Mary Cox, sister Kelly Cox, brother Patrick Cox and her beloved dog Freeway.

She is survived by her daughter Cortney Cox of Concord, NH, niece Marley Cox of Concord, NH, niece Reese Cox of Maplewood, MN, aunt Rita Scannell of Stuart, FL, cousins June Kelly and Kim Carroll of Florida, step-sister Linda (Mullen) Wilson of Lunenberg, MA, step-mom Diane Landry of Townsend, MA, a number of step-brothers, extended family and many friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 9th at 2:00 p.m. at one of Kathy's favorite spots, Tandy's Pub located at 1 Eagle Square, Concord NH, 03301.
