I can remember the many times I was invited over and Mrs Bossy was always so kind. She'd wear a smile on her face as she drove us to the mall or wherever else we had hoped to go. She would ask genuine questions truly wanting to know what we were all up to. I remember her laughing about her cat Pandora eating the cream out from between the Oreos on top of the refrigerator. Things that always make me smile. She had a gentle humor and a generous spirit that I will always remember. My sincere condolences to her family. Huge hugs to you Estelle.
Kathy was such a vibrant and singular person--full of passion and care for the world. Gardening was both literally and metaphorically her metier--the cultivation of the world to make it bloom.  May her spirit take root in all of our hearts and help us to create greater flourishing on this earth.

I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to Michel-Andre and his children for the recent loss of their wife and mother, Kathy Bossy. Kathy has seemed like a part of my extended family since she became my sister’s (Karen’s) college roommate many years ago! The three of us shared many memorable events and activities while we all were students or working at Yale, in the late 1960s. I particularly remember the matching mini-bridesmaid dresses that Kathy and I made and we wore for Karen’s wedding with Bob, and the beautiful wedding reception that Kathy hosted at her apartment in New Haven. More recently, I have memories of enjoying many shared social events in Rhode Island. I feel a deep sadness, as one would at the loss of a family member and long time friend.

My heart felt sympathies to Uncle Andre, Denise, Estelle & Nick, extended family and friends…a very sweet memory of her when I was around 5- at Christmas she hand crafted//made all the furniture and linens, dishes for my dollhouse. Hours and hours it must have taken. I was so excited~so happy.  Five full levels…was very very special she took such time away from school, friends to make me -a little 5 yo smile on Christmas! This picture reminds me of this time period-lovely.
