It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kathie Yvonne Diamantides on January 15, 2025, at the age of 64. Kathie was born on April 10, 1960, in Lynn, MA., to Christopher Manuel and Pauline Audrey (Pauline Labrecque) Diamantides. Kathie was baptized at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lynn, MA. on December 4, 1960. Her Godparents  are John and Fern Diamantides.

Kathie graduated from Lynn English High School in Lynn, MA., Class of 1978. Following graduation, she worked for Purity Supreme as a member of management and then as a Senior Loan Officer for Household Finance Corporation (HSBC). She married Patrick Howard O’Hara on May 23, 1987, and they resided in Fairfield, CA., until they divorced on August 28, 1990. She moved to Florida in 2001 and spent her final days as a resident of Dade City, FL.

Kathie's legacy is one of kindness and generosity. She committed her life to helping people and would have done anything for the people in her life that she cared about. She was known for her very giving nature and would have given the shirt off her back for those in need. She was also known for her strong love of animals, of all kinds. She left behind 2 young cats, Chuey and Milo, and they were her entire world.

Her absence is felt deeply, but her memory and impact will forever be a part of the lives of those she touched throughout her life.

Kathie is survived by her parents Christopher Manuel and Pauline Audrey (Pauline Labrecque) Diamantides, daughter Melissa Rene Diamantides, granddaughters Ashlyn Marie Ellis and Athena Eleni Rivera, brother Christopher Diamantides and his wife Mary Diamantides; as well as their children Erica, Nicole, Kristin and Leah, sister Christina (Diamantides) Tziavas, her Godparents John and Fern Diamantides and their children, her uncle George and auntie Georgette Diamantides and their children, and grandchildren, her auntie Mary (Diamantides) Chobanian and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, auntie Ethel (Diamantides) Chigas and her children, grandchildren and great grand children,  as well as many cousins residing in Massachusetts, Florida and California.
