This is her story in her own words

I don't have a particular story about Kathie, but rather a collection of memories that while making, I became to know a lady with a beautiful smile and even more beautiful spirit. No matter how life might have knocked her down or been difficult for her, she got through it without complaining, with strong determination that it wasn't going to beat her. My brother Lynn was very much in love with her and they found their own little piece of this big world together.  We had many laughs, many chances to shake our heads at something that was going on, I never dreamed that one day, less than a day apart her and I would share the tragic twist of losing our significant others. Kathie became my strength during those days and then I lost Kathie. My world will always be better for knowing her and I will always treasure those memories we got to share. Kathie, I know you are keeping an eye on the guys and I miss all of you terribly. My world will never be the same again, but it was so much of a better world because you three were in it. Rest well and we will be together again. 

Kathie was such a kind & sweet person who I grew to love & cherish as a friend. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing but she is in a much better place now. My husband & I lived close to her & Lynn in Jacksboro & got to know them. They were a very sweet couple who thought of everyone before themselves...She will be greatly missed. We talked a lot of Facebook & I really enjoyed our conversations.

My aunt Kathie who I called auntie was such a beautiful and sweet aunt. She truly did have such a kind heart. I mean this when I say this... She wouldn't even hurt a butterfly she was that kind. She wouldn't even throw away food or let you throw away food she would say throw it outside so an animal can have it to eat because they get hungry too. She truly was two things to me, she was my aunt and she was like a second mom to me after my mom passed away in 2012. She always had a lending ear I could go to her with any problem or any thought I have and she would give me great Sound Advice. We were so so close and I thank God I got to see her the day before she passed we had a wonderful two days together before then. She always told me I was her favorite nephew and she was always my favorite aunt. Words cannot explain how much I will miss her, I lost my very best friend the day she passed. I love you Auntie you will always be the light for me when my tunnel gets dark. Rest in peace love you!

Kathie was a very sweet and was a great friend to my mom , she was someone I never forgot about and when I finally found her on Facebook I let her know about my mom passed away 2-10-12 and she was always in my Prayers,  I remember her since I was a child I just can't remember when my mom and her become friends , she will be missed,  I Luv You Kathie and I will see you again 1 day , my mom's name is Alice Friend my name was Patricia Williamson when my mom met your mom.
