I just saw this about your Mom after you notified me on news of your Father passing. ..I Miss her... She would go out of her way to bring me cupcake even fighting her battle. 💞
Happy heavenly birthday sweet lady.  You are missed! 💗💗🎂🎂
Just wanted to express my condolences to Mike, Gabe, Brittni, and the rest of their family for the passing of Kathi. She was a good friend for over 50+ years. I will miss her. To me, she was the epitome of a family matriarch, always cooking, baking, taking care of her family. In many aspects, Kathi reminded me of my Mom. RIP Kathi!!!

I was able to be in Kathy life as her caregiver and I will carry her in my heart, we got close and she shared a lot of stories with me, My condolences to the family who’s lost such an amazing person. ❤️
Kathi, you were always one of my favorite neighbors.  I loved our conversations and how we always seem to solve all the problems in the world.  Rest in peace and know how much you will be missed.
So very sorry Mike, Britt and Gabe. Our thoughts are with you.
Love,
Cheryl and Kim
I will always remember Kathaleen as a wild, fun, and zany chick who liked to dance and was always the life of the party.   She was vibrant and full of life, loved a good prank and was the quintessential hostess. RIP Kathaleen.

  • Kathi always emitted a special warmth from her smile and a sparkle from her eyes when she welcomed us at the Lauinger home. I could always feel that she was happy to see us- really appreciated us. I want to tell a story of the caring and loving heart she had.

While fighting cancer she thought of others. She had chemo, was sick and was very tired. Kathi, being the incredible warrior she was, thought of Jim and I and what we were going through. She was fighting for her life and was worried about us. Kathi was going to cook meals for us to help take care of us! So loving and caring- a great, wonderful person and friend. May she have eternal life and many blessings bestowed upon her family.

I still see Kathi flawlessly unwrapping a beautifully presented huge salmon she cooked and brought to a family gathering.  She had to have worked hours and it was perfection!  Her big smile and fun loving spirit will leave a big void in many lives.  May God wrap a wreath of love  around the hearts of Mike, Gabe and Britt especially.❤️
I have many many memories with my Aunt Kathi, I've seen her laugh her goofy laugh until she nearly wet herself, I've seen her be angry at us darn kids running a muck thru the house, and I've seen her happy go lucky and having a ball at the beach. I remember when she was pregnant with Britt, and wondered what was in her big belly, I was little then 🤷🏼 it could have been a beach ball with how she loved the beach. She loved laughing and having a good time. I'm glad I got to spend more time with her over the last year and a half, we had some great conversations I won't soon forget. I love my family and miss my auntie and those that went before her. "Til I see you next time beautiful" ❤️ was always my goodbye to her. So. Til I see you next time beautiful.
Dear Mike, Brittni, Gabe and family,  Mike and  I are very sorry that Kathi, are dear friend, passed on.    We were so fortunate to be lifelong friends and our families grew up together.   We have many memories of time at your beach cabin,  camping trips, Reno and Vegas,  New Year's Eve parties and so much more.   Most days you would find Kathi in her kitchen cooking and trying new reciepes.  We all knew what a great cook she was.    Kathy was very strong during her 3 year battle with cancer.  She never complained about pain and keep moving forward.  I was very happy to help her out and to spend time with her.  Kathy , you will be missed, but always a part of us.  Joanne and Mike
