A Ray of light for all who knew her

Katie Thompson (Sunshine) was and is the epitome of kindness , sweetness, and joy. A woman and mother missed beyond what words can describe. She was the most generous soul I’ve ever known. She had the most compassionate of hearts. It did not matter who you were, she emanated sunshine upon you. Her heart (still) bursts with sunshine. It’s a sunny day in heaven now that she’s there!

She had a smile that could bring about a smile to everyone she knew. She knew how to have fun and she also knew how to make one hell of a good margarita!

My most precious and beloved mother, I will never cease to miss you. Always and forever miss you..  at every holiday, mom/daughter date night, and Hallmark movie marathon girls night.

I know right here in this now, you are so so loved-beyond beyond beyond loved! You are joyfully in the light. In the presence of big sweetie. (Our name for God). We are all in the presence of big sweetie!

Mommy llamy, a chorus of angels surround you, love surrounds, peace surrounds you everyday all day long. Morning noon, and night, Mama Katie, You are surrounded by the light.

Katie (Sunshine) was adored by the Mile Hi choir and practitioners.

She loved singing more than anything in this world! She was the choir’s song bird. Dancing in full joy on stage when the choir would sing.

She has been a member of Mile Hi church for 16 years! She said when she found Mile Hi, she knew she was home. Finally! Her people. And the authentic love she searched for her whole life was right here. She so adored (and still does) Mile Hi Church.
