My heart is sadden to hear of Katie’s passing.  She was such a beautiful soul and she will be missed.  I always enjoyed conversations and activities with her.  I was so impressed that she picked up skiing later in life and I cherish the memories I have of skiing with her in Breckenridge.  I know her love of singing in the choir and have a vivid memory of how happy she was singing the national anthem at Coors Field with that group.  She had the best smile and the sweetest and kindest voice.  She made a profound impact on my life and I will continue to pray for her.  Eternal rest grant unto Katie, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

We met Katie at a "Star-gazing" canoe trip, then and every time since my heart was always uplifted & filled with joy to be in her presence. She was an amazing woman, the last to stay up looking at stars, always ready for an adventure, and on every hike always carrying enough for anyone in need. I will remember her singing at our parties, her deep love of Spirit and all her creatures, especially of her dear daughter April. I miss and love you Katie immensely and look forward to seeing you on the other side 💖💖💖 Laurie and Doug Lee

Katie was in my book club for several years. Her prayers were so full of sweetness, light, heart, and gentleness. It was so special to spend time with her. She always embodied that gift of kindness and sunshine for others to experience wherever she went. I will miss her joy and her presence. My deepest sympathy goes to her family and friends.

I sat next to Katie a few years in the Mile Hi Choir. Whenever we would have a high soprano soloist, I loved to watch Katie. When they hit the high note, Katie would clasp her hands and her eyes would tear up. It was beautiful to witness. Such a gorgeous soul.

Katie,

You are now in your fullness. We friends will always miss you. You were so happy, loving and fun.

I loved Katie’s beautiful smile and her sweet way of being with each and every one of us. While we didn’t get to see her so much after moving to Colorado but, I felt we were kindred spirits because of love of our respective church choirs.  Heaven has another beautiful songbird 🙏🏽
I'm so sorry for the loss of Katie.  She was truly one of the nicest most generous people I have ever met.

I always looked forward to seeing Katie. She was one of those rare souls who emitted acceptance, kindness and joy. She always had a warm smile on her face, and boy, did Katie know how to have a good time! She had an infectious laugh and was such a joy to be around!

I met Katie during a transitional time in my life while singing in the Mile Hi Church Choir. Feeling exceptionally blessed to be the recipient of Katie's blissful joy and radiant beauty. I absolutely loved being near her when she sang, expressively danced, and connected so lovingly with others most especially her beautiful daughter April. Her light continues to shine, bring joy to my heart having been touched by her evervescent love.
