Katherine "Kathy" Liles Moye passed away on March 2, 2025 in Roanoke, VA. Kathy was a joyful spirit. Known for her contagious laughter, Kathy spread warmth and good humor, making friends everywhere she went. Kathy was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend; truly the light in so many lives.

Kathy grew up in Richlands, VA. She was a graduate of the Richlands High School class of 1974, and went on to her first job at the Virginia Tech Office of Admissions. From there, she followed her sister to Tampa, where she married Bill Moye, and they welcomed Valerie and Scott into the world. Kathy and her family also spent a number of years the greater Memphis, TN area, where she held various executive assistant roles in the real estate and financial services industries. We fondly remember Kathy's love of gardening, music, games, and the VT Hokies. As a life-long cat lover, she gave a loving home to so many fur-babies over the years.

Surviving are Kathy’s children, Valerie Paige Moye and Scott William Moye; her former spouse William Moye; her siblings Michelle (Shelley) Grosenbaugh and William (Bill) Liles; and her sweet kitties, Silvie and Sadie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Liles and Jeannine Pouliot Liles.
