I was blessed to teach “Katiebug” at Valley View Preschool when she was 2 years old. I will never forget her sweet smile and cute giggle. I am saddened to hear she’s gone and my thoughts and prayers are with her family. Heaven definitely gained another precious angel!
One of my first memories of Katie Irvin was the 7th grade when she taught me Lil Wayne lyrics. By 9th grade she was my kitty kat. Every weekend we slept over in my sisters room while Jen and kacy slept in my room (we said they would breathe too hard). We then went to college together. We took every class we could until she went off to nursing school. Then she landed her dream job. No surprise. Smartest person I’ll ever know. I miss you already Kitty kat.
To the family of Katie, look to god for love, strength, guidance and purpose. Katie had a purpose and she exceeded that purpose more than you know. I came across this on Facebook and I never met Katie before but I also want to leave my condolences and keep praying for your family. It is never easy loosing a loved one but the important part is that Katie was blessed with a loving family and she will always look down and be proud of you all.
