Dear Family of "Aunt Lou,"

I am so very sorry that I could not work out the logistics in order to attend my "Aunt Lou's" graveside service!  She was so very special to me!  In fact, I was given her middle name, Louise, by my father, Leonard J. Paxton, who was her oldest brother! "Aunt Lou" was his "baby sister!"

"Aunt Lou" and I shared several visits with my father at his home in Bolivar, Missouri.  We had such a marvelous time all together.  Once we shared candy treats and small Christian puzzle tracts on Halloween with at least 250 plus trick or treaters who came to my father's neighborhood from miles around. He sat in his recliner and thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the children!  He even allowed us to clear out his candy stash in his kitchen cabinets when we ran out of all of the huge bags I brought from my Atlanta Costco!   "Aunt Lou" and I had so much fun!

On another visit to Missouri, I was able to meet "Aunt Lou" at a nice restaurant off I-44 (Route 66) where her young adult grandchildren from St. Louis drove her.  I then continued the drive to my father's home in Bolivar, Missouri.  "Aunt Lou" and I went shopping on the historic Bolivar Square at Horton's Dept. Store. It was just fantastic to shop together, and laugh a lot!  "Aunt Lou" had a delightful sense of humor!

I will look forward to seeing "Aunt Lou" again in heaven, but hopefully not right away!  I have many more Christmas shoeboxes to wrap and pack for impoverished older boys and girls through Samaritan's Purse!

Warm Hugs to All,

Evie Jones             (Evelyn Louise Paxton)

I cannot express how very much I will miss this incredible woman. She was always the voice of reason, no matter what was going on around her, and I watched her countless time react to things with nothing but love and caring. She had such a good sense of humor and loved to laugh. I'm so glad I got to spend lots of time with her the past few years, we had such great adventures and laughed lots. I look forward to seeing her again, and I know she is having great experiences in heaven.
