Personal note from from Bill, David Atma and Amy

Daughter Amy and sons David Atma and Bill were able to spend precious days with Kim before she passed away in the early hours of September 3 as she had wished in her apartment at Mary's Woods, Lake Oswego, OR. having received excellent attention by staff here and through Hospice. We created this website as a way to celebrate our times together, memories and stories with Katharine Isabelle Migel Aycrigg. Please add your notes, memories, pictures, etc. All will be appreciated. Typical Mom, recounting a dream she had not too long ago, "seeing herself" at her own memorial service in the chapel here on campus, she commented "you wouldn't believe all the special things they were saying about me." Yes we do Mom! May your Lord bless you and keep you for all your days here and beyond.

Obituary

Katharine Isabelle Migel “Kim” Aycrigg, 98, passed away on September 3rd, at Mary’s Woods Retirement Community, Lake Oswego, Oregon where she resided for the past ten years.
She was born December 19,1921 in Pelham, NY, daughter of the late Julius and Margaret Migel, the youngest of five siblings. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard and son Jeffrey.

Kim attended Emma Willard and graduated from Smith College (‘43). She was a generous and caring …
