In the years since 2017 when Kate and I moved to live in Vermont full time, she made hundreds of crochet hats by hand that she donated to Bennington Hospital and to the State of Vermont’s Department of Children and Families (DCF) office in Bennington, for them to distribute to children and families they serve. She certainly would have appreciated and encouraged others donating to DCF, whether the donations be money, or time, or items you make like she did.
