Kate is survived by her mother, Karen Austin, and her sisters, Kimberly and Sharry Austin. She was predeceased by her father, Andrew Austin. Kate was a cherished member of her family, and her presence will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

Throughout her life, Kate enjoyed a variety of interests and hobbies. She was a lover of sushi and steaks, and always appreciated an ice-cold cola. Her favorite books included The Bell Jar, while her musical tastes favored John Legend and Drake. Kate's favorite TV shows included NCIS, and she loved watching movies such as The Lion King and The 100 Series.

Kate had a passion for sports, with a particular interest in watersports and basketball. She enjoyed playing tennis and engaging in friendly games of Scrabble. In her leisure time, Kate found joy in fishing, camping, and practicing yoga. She also had a love for travel, with Hawaii and Greece being among her favorite vacation spots. Blue was her favorite color, reflecting her vibrant and warm personality.
