I worked with Kasi at CPW and bonded over our love of dogs.  We were always laughing  and usually about something Kasi said or did.  She was the first to make fun of herself and always left us in stitches.  She once told an entire meeting of supervisors that she'd "bring her head in" when she meant to say "she'd poke her head in" when lunch was delivered.  She accidentally shook the director's hand with an awkward  two finger clutch. This became our secret handshake.  She once told the vice president of the USA's secret service that there was a porta potty available at the nearby trucker pullout when they asked about using our office as a potential secure location while traveling.  Only after they had left that she realized she had just told the VP of the USA to use a roadside trucker porta--potty.  I once photoshopped myself into a photo with Kevin Costner to tease her because she thought she might have missed an opportunity to meet the star when she couldn't come with me to work on his property.  To make up for giving her a hard time, I photoshopped her into a few photos with Kevin.  We always had a good time.   She was a great friend, always willing to give you her time.  She put others ahead of herself always.  I will miss our long phone calls that always ended in "love ya girl", our pathetic attempts at grooming Rosie or my Copper dog,  sitting on her couch with pugs pretty much on my head, and all the laughter we shared.  She changed our world for the better.

Kasi, there will never be another you. Ten of us could never measure up to you. You were as beautiful inside as outside. Now you have eternal boot tray duty and water bowl (s) duty with Pa's. I can't imagine how happy they all are to be back in your loving arms.

The day we got married was one of the happiest days of my life looking at how beautiful you are and knowing that I just married a woman of my dream and that we would be spending the rest of a long life together little did we know that was not going to come true 1 day from being 6 months I lost my best friend a person that had a heart as big as Texas as Perry Will said during our wedding vowels she wanted to help everyone or everything on earth that needed help and love and she would put her own life behind everything else.

My beautiful and lovely wife my heart was shattered into more pieces that anyone could ever imagine that morning when I lost you I was holding you so tight and telling you my best friend and soulmate that I loved you more than anything in this world.

It felt so much like nightmare that all I wanted to do was to wake up and you be there looking at me and telling me do you know how much I love you and I would always say yes I do but not as much as I love you.❤️

I miss you so terribly bad they say time will heal but I don’t know how all those pieces can ever be put back together.

Kasi, you were and still are one of a kind. You were loved by so many and you gave your whole heart to those precious animals who needed your help. Thanks for being a friend. Please give all my babies love for me over the rainbow bridge and keep watch over all of us until we meet again…

I was heartbroken when I heard the news of Kasi's passing.  I know she is happy with all of her furbabies up at the rainbow bridge. God must have really needed a beautiful angel up there. Rest in Paradise Kasi, You are truly missed by many.
I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Kasi.  She truly was a wonderful, loving, fun person to say the least.  I loved working with her at DOW/CPW.  Sometimes I would go to the office during big game season to help sell licenses.  I just loved being around her..she truly warmed my heart.  We will miss you Kasi.....all of your wonderful past pets in heaven get to enjoy your company.

Visit with Kasi and pugs. Kasi is holding Stewie, the honorable pug.
Kasi, I am forever grateful that you came into my life and taught me so much about pugs. I miss you so very much! I know that Chunk, Pa's, Sophie, Emma, Munch, Spider, and so many more are now back in your arms, and that God is holding you in his arms. You will live forever in my heart. I look forward to the day when we will be reunited in the Kingdom.
Kasi, you touched so many people because you were such an awesome person. Your love for animals and desire to help any animal was inspiring. You made the world a much better place. I know there was a high party at the Rainbow Bridge when you gain your wings.
Kasi, I am forever grateful that you were in my life. You were a true example of selflessness.  You made the world a better place. Thank you!
