Karl Conrad Knief, 59, of Langhorne, PA, passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2023. Karl was a cherished friend known for his artistic talent, quirky sense of humor, and kind heart.

Born on July 24, 1964, Karl grew up in Overland Park, KS. He attended film school at NYU and moved to Los Angeles in 1998, where he met many close friends who became like family to him. He worked for many years in the film & television industry, first at E! Entertainment and later at top talent agencies before finally moving to Philadelphia, PA, in 2019. Many who knew Karl remember his love of his cats, film, animation, Buffy, and Asian culture and cuisine. Karl was also dedicated to protecting the environment, recycling meticulously, and riding public transportation.

Karl is predeceased by his parents, Ruby and Dwight Knief. Though he did not have any known next of kin, his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all of us who were fortunate enough to have him in our lives.

An online memorial service to celebrate Karl's life is being planned. We hope those who knew him will join us to share their memories and photos.
