Karin's obituary

Karin Marie Martin (Cizmar), a Valentine's Day sweetheart, born on February 14,1969 in Garfield Heights, peacefully departed this earth April 23, 2021 at the age of 52 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long battle with health complications. No more pain or suffering. Growing up with parents Raymond Cizmar Sr. (deceased) and Dianne Keithley, Karin attended Garfield Heights Schools and Lumen Cordium Catholic School. She had found success in her life in the home mortgage field as a Loan Processor and Notary Public. She found love at age 16 with James Martin Sr. for 37 years and was married for 34 years. Some of her favorite activities included camping, fishing, gardening, taking care of her dogs and cats, cooking and baking for her loved ones, motorcycle rides with her husband, swimming with the family in her pool, music and concerts and spending as much time with her grandchildren as she could. She was the definition of love, spreading all of her joy and kindness to anyone around her. She is survived by her beloved husband James Sr., her mother Dianne and step-father Gary Keithley, children Kristen (husband Daniel Smelko) and James Jr. (fiancée Sara Skidmore), Grandchildren (Dalton, Grayson, Khloe, Daniel, Ryan, Weston, Olivia, Cailyn), brothers Raymond Cizmar Jr. and David Cizmar, step sister Kim Hicks (husband Chris), step-brothers Kyle Keithley (wife Marie Land) and Darren Keithley (wife Amy).

Services will be Saturday, May 8th at First Baptist Church of Garrettsville 7656 State Route 82 Garrettsville, OH. We will hold a time of Reflection/Fellowship from 10-11 AM with services and burial following at Harrington Cemetery in Garrettsville. A celebration of life luncheon will also follow the burial. Services will be by invitation only due to current Covid-19 capacity restrictions.
