She was born on May 13, 1963 in Woodstock, the Daughter of Edwin H.Thurow, and Dale E. Thurow (Blogett).
She was a skilled web site developer, and had a love for Science. Her zest for life, compassion, humor and talents will be greatly missed by many; Her Mother Dale E. Thurow (Blogett). Her sisters Lori A. (fiancée, Luke Appel) Thurow and Shari E. Thurow; her cherished nieces Nova (Daniel) McGivern and Halley (Adam) Milbratz; her adored great-nieces and nephews, Marley and Metallica Peto, London and Steven Milbratz, and Brantley and Jameson McGivern; her beloved uncle, James (Joan) Thurow and treasured cousins, Joshua P. (Heather) Thurow and his family, Megan, Bennett and Cameryn and Justin J. (Jill) Thurow and his family, Macie and Danny.
She was preceded in death by her late Father and Grandparents.
A celebration of Karen's life will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 5 p.m. Visitation 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Querhammer and Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Online condolences may be submitted at querhammerandflagg.com
