Karen Sue Swan 1940 - 2023

Karen Sue Swan, 83, Sumner Michigan, daughter of Orville and Garnet (Campbell) Lewis was born February 29, 1940, in Guilford, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, Lansing, Michigan.

Karen Swan had 4 siblings Curtis Lewis, Missouri; Olive Snodderly, Missouri; Charlotte Brown, Missouri; and Joann Johnson, Indiana.

Karen Swan was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma and also a great great grandma, and friend to many. She loved to go camping, the outdoors, and the races. She also loved to go play bingo with family and friends. Karen was a very loving woman; she was loved by many people. Karen loved to spend time with her family as much as she could.

Karen Sue was preceded in death by her 3 husbands, her parents, her 4 siblings, 2 of her daughters Patrcia Miller and Sandra Miller and also 3 great grandchildren.

Survivors include son Russell Wells (Loreal), Troy Kansas; Sharon Miller Edmore, Michigan; Margo Dalbey St. Joseph, Missouri; Grandsons Jeremiah Miller (Lynn) Sumner, Michigan; Richard Miller St. Louis, Michigan; Nathan Bitler Fort Collins, Colardo; Charlie Dalbey St. Joseph, Missouri; Tyler Ebling St. Joseph, Missouri; Spencer Haywood St. Joseph, Missouri; Dillion Wells, Troy Kansas; Patrick Sleight Edmore, Michigan; Granddaughters Melissa Collins (Timothy) Edmore, Michigan; Bianca Hamlin St. Louis, Michigan; Cassie Bills (Jeremy) Vestaburg, Michigan; Haley Wells Troy, Kansas; Kyra Young (Carl) Rushville, Missouri; Nicole Wells Troy, Kansas; many great grandchildren and 1 great great Granddaghter.

Karen is being cremated as her wishes we will be planning a memorial service at a later date.
